windy

big winds are brewing

we’ll stay put a few days

last night we jerked on the mooring ball

every time a gust came through

and it rained during the night

not the typical passing shower

but a 3-hour downpour

rinsed the boat nice and clean

so this morning’s sunshine

looks extra bright

we’ve got the fridge restocked

and the laundry done

I guess I'll read a good book

and wait for the winds to settle
