Ready

  

it’s not quite our winter home,

winter campsite maybe,

but it’s good to be back.

the landscape is familiar

the boat is our living space

and after 2 months

of “getting ready” –

getting the boat ready,

getting us ready –

we’re eager now

to enjoy the sailing life we’ve chosen

enjoy the islands

enjoy this time

in our lives.
